Xiaocui (China) – Cerebral Palsy (Male, 13 years old) – 2011

Xiaocui is a Chinese 13 years old male patient suffering from cerebral palsy. He underwent parodynia during delivery. He underwent the history of hypoxia and jaundice after born. He was admitted to receive stem cell treatment in our hospital on 19th May, 2011 due to the intelligence and verbal ability development retardation for over 12 years.

Before the stem cell treatment:
-The fine motor ability of his both hands was poor, the movement of fetching the object was clumsy;
-The muscular tension of his upper limbs was higher, he could not raise his arms to the top of his head;
-The muscular tension of his lower limbs was higher, the muscle strength of his lower limbs was poor;
-He could sit, stand by himself but walk unstably, with poor balance.

After the stem cell treatment:
-The posture of fetching objects by his both hands is improved obviously;
-The muscular tension of his upper limbs is improved obviously, he can raise his arms to the top of his head;
-The muscular tension of his lower limbs is improved obviously, he can walk more stably than before;
-He can sit , stand and walk more stably by himself.
