Shuaishuai, 5 year-old male, was diagnosed as Cerebral Palsy due to the retardation in his motor development for over five years. He was admitted to our hospital on February 10th, 2011.

Shuaishuai was received 4 stem cell transplantations via lumbar puncture in our hospital.

The Main Condition before the Admission:
-He could not sit due to the weak muscle strength of his waist;
-He could not stand independently;
-He could not walk independently;
-The muscular tension of his lower limbs was higher;
-It was difficult to lift his lower limbs to make a step;
-He suffered from obvious cross steps, tiptoeing and scissors gait when walking.

The Condition after the First Course (During the treatment period in the hospital):
-The muscle strength of his waist is increased obviously;
-He could sit by himself but need more practice to make it stronger;
-The muscular tension of his lower limbs is reduced obviously;
-He can lift his lower limbs higher than before and can make a steps under the assistance from his mother;
-His cross step, tiptoeing, scissors gait are all relieved or even disappeared when walking.
