Mr. Du- Stroke, Brain Hemorrhage, Hypertension (Male,38 years old)

Mr. Du is a Chinese 38 years old male patient suffering from stroke. He was admitted to our hospital for chief complaint of movement dysfunction of his left limbs for over 4 years. He was diagnosed as stroke and hypertension with 3 grades.

His brief medical history: he happened to feel dizziness, nausea, disfluent speech, unstable walking, no consciousness disorder without obvious incentive in 2005, then he was diagnosed as brain hemorrhage.

Before the stem cell treatment:
- He was alert, normal speech, left facial palsy, cheek-bulging with air leak; the muscular tension of his left limbs was higher than normal, movement dysfunction;
- The motor condition: he can show cheek-bulging with air leak; the muscular tension of his left upper limb was higher than normal; the flexibility of his movement was poor; the movement range of his limbs was limited, he could not stretch his limbs backward; he could not stretch the index finger and middle finger of his left hand, which needed his right hand to assist for performing; the muscular tension of his left lower limb was higher than normal, he was limping during his walking; his heels left the ground apparently when squatting down;
- The sensation condition: the sensation of pain, temperature and touching of his left limbs was reduced, he could not feel his left foot landing on the ground when walking.

After the stem cell treatment:
- The motor condition: he can show cheek-bulging without air leak; the muscular tension of his left limbs is reduced more than before, the swing arm range of his left upper limb is increased obviously whilst he can stretch his limbs backward freely, the index finger and middle finger of his left hand can open slightly with a certain degree; the muscular tension of his left lower limb is improved obviously; his heels left the ground less than before when squatting down;
- The sensation condition: the sensation of his left side of body is better than before, he can feel his left foot landing on the ground when walking.
