Mike (Trinidad and Tobago) – Cerebral Palsy (Male, 3 years old boy ) – 2014

Mike, a 3 years old boy, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. he was a full-term normal delivery baby, without asphyxia or anoxia. He was diagnosed with Neonatal Jaundice when he was born five days, without family genetic disease. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He was admitted to our hospital mainly due to developmental retardation in language and motor development on November 22, 2014. He discharged from hospital on December 6, 2014.

Physical condition before treatment
He can speak simple words, and language comprehension was poor.
Both hands were made in fist all the time, and elbow joint was always buckling.
She neither can sit, nor stand, nor walking independently.
The muscle tension of lower limbs is high.
With assistance of his parents, he had scissors steps and tip toes for both feet when walking.
Poor appetite.

Physical condition after treatment
He is able to speak complex words, and the language comprehension is improved.
Both hands can stretch. Elbow joint muscle tension is reduced.
He can sit independently for 10 minutes, and can stand for 3 minutes.
His heels could touch the ground. Scissors step has been relieved a lot. He has ability to walk independently for 2 minutes.
The muscle tension of lower limbs is reduced obviously, while muscle strength is enhanced.
He is more sensitive to sound.
His appetite is much better than before.
