Dr. Xiaodong Wang graduated from Suzhou Medical College in 1984 and since her graduation Dr. Xiaodong has been working in the research, teaching and science of the clinical treatment of paediatric nervous system diseases. Later she studied in the medical school of Peking university where she achived her PHD.
Dr. Xiaodong is an expert in the treatment of new-born babies, HIE, Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis, Green Barry Syndrome, children's intracranial infectious diseases, Infantile Cerebral Palsy, Acute Haemoplegia in infancy and childhood, Infantile Epilepsy, Hyperactivity Syndrome as well as many other areas. Then in 2006 to 2008 Dr. Xiaodong attended University of Rochester Medical Center and started her post-doctor research under the direction of Professor Mark Nobel who is an internationally recognized and well respected neural stem cell expert. The focus of her study was the function of the neural stem cells in the oxidative damage and repair of the central nervous system and its molecular mechanism.
Dr. Xiaodong Wang is now researching the clinical treatment of stem cells' organizational repair and regeneration in the Armed Forces Neural Science Research Institute stem cells transplantation department. Dr. Xiaodong excels at the super early stage diagnosis and stem cells transplantation treatment of Infantile Cerebral Palsy, and the treatment of Paediatric Myelitis and Sequelae of injury of spinal cord. She focused her studies on the subject of the treatment of diabetes with stem cells transplantation, and made some great improvements in this field.
